The staff/volunteers clearly love what they do and put alot of effort into the maintenance and upkeep of the railway. My kids enjoyed the ride and waving at people as we chugged past them. I think if they reduced the price of the all day rover ticket, they could definitely upsell more people from the return ticket, as it would be seen as good value!

It's a lovely ride through the park but... ...no concessions for support workers. Some of our guys need us to go with them and they have to pay for us. Just about everywhere support goes free because our guys need us. Something to look into...

It's a good place to spend a few hours, perfect for a picnic, for a walk, to entertain adults and kids, there is a really nice little train with also stations which we loved, go ape for kids and adults which is an adventure, really nice playground, unfortunately we didn't find Gruffalo characters as my kid didn't have much patient and it's no a short walk. Apart from that we enjoyed it so much!!! Recommended

We had great fun going up and down on the railway at Moore Valley - it's not a particularly long route or anything, but still lovely. Return tickets enable you to get off at the other end, have a wonder about and then get on at your leisure for a trip back. They also had all day rover tickets if you have train mad kids and plenty of money...! There is a little snack shed and toilets at the far end - and a little model railway as well.

Lovely place and so much to do. We particularly enjoyed the train! Just prepare yourself for the car parking charges and be aware they are a no bin zone (to encourage you to take it all home with you - but it's a bit hard when you have a toddlers half eaten squished up piece of fruit in your hand - certainly not putting that in my bag or pocket!). But I definitely recommend and will be going back very soon.
