I was amazed to discover Morbitorium recently when I was looking for a suitable home for a quirky antique item that I had recently acquired. The museum looked absolutely fascinating - if a bit gruesome - so we contacted the very friendly and, it turns out, not-at-all-sinister owner, and the item now has a new home. The museum is a collection of some of the weirdest and quirkiest things you can imagine but had a most welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. Incidentally, there's also a section on (benign) witchcraft at the back of the shop and an impressive collection of ouija boards mounted on the walls. Dave has also recently completed his very own version of the Wicker Man in the garden area outside. Other bonuses to this wondrous little place are the admission fee of only £2.50 per head (though we went in for free), proximity of Cwmbran Forest Drive, and the Tiny Rebel Brewey in nearby Rogerstone.

Amazing little museum full of fascinating objects. Dave, the owner and curator, was on hand for questions and explanations. Large gift shop too. If all things weird, wonderful and creepy interest you, this is the place!

Intriguing collection. The macabre, the occult, the curious and the downright strange. This place is quirky but fascinating. I'm so glad that I had this on my bucket list and have now ticked it off.

My sister and I had the most amazing evening during the Edgar Allan Poe talk!! My second time coming to this magical beautiful shop, my sister's first and she was speechless...the atmosphere during the talk was so cosy and calming, so much fun and the wonderful woman who held the talk was utterly fantastic. So charming and did Poe justice!! cant wait to attend more events at the Morbitorium, such a special place thank you x
