Fantastic beach. You can drive on and set up for a picnic for the day, You will love ❤️ it. Ideal for the family including the dog..It's £8 for the day for cars.. Drive slowly and Park sensibly. Keep an eye on the tides times..jdg
Nice Sandy Beach with a gentle incline and perfect for swimming and paddle board
Lovely stretch of sandy beach. Check for the tide times. It was £8 to park for the day. You can park on the beach. To the right of the beach, no dogs are allowed, but to the left, dogs are allowed. There is an ice cream van there, but no other cafe or anything. There are toilets just before you go onto the beach. I would definitely recommend Black Rock Sands, especially if you want to drive onto a beach for easy access and have some lovely views.
Beautiful beach along the Welsh Coastal Path. If your walking from Porthmadog it's the last beach before you hit Black Rock Sands. There is a small bench near the path but plenty of sand (and rocks) to sit on around the bay. A good quiet spot to do some Bird Watching as we saw Oystercatchers, Herons and Little Egerts on the mud banks whilst the tide was out. Not to certain on swimming in the area but we did enjoy a little paddle to cool our feet off.
Beautiful quiet beach found whilst walking Welsh coast path. Great place for a paddle to soothe aching feet!
