Beautiful park. Good size play area and a cafe that does excellent food, drinks hot and cold, and a selection of ice creams. There are loads of different walks to choose from depending how far you wish to walk. The lake has a waterspouts centre with great staff, where you can hire peddle swans, canoes, row boats and paddle boards at a reasonable cost. You can also use your own for a small fee. There are plenty of fields to play football, rounders etc or just take a picnic and watch everyone enjoying themselves. The park is very popular with dog walkers. Mote Park is definitely worth a visit.

A large park in the heart of Maidstone, with a circular lake walk or a whole park circular route which is about 3-4 miles long. The park itself is full of wildlife and scenic views, excellent for dog walking, photography or a place to meet up. There are a range of car parks from Willington Street, School Lane and Mote Avenue. Parking is paid and can be paid using a parking machine or using the RingGo app, but make sure to select the correct car park as there are several. During busy periods, the main car park and overflow can become completely full so parking in the School Lane car park sometimes is needed, or on road parking nearby if it's too busy. The lake can be busy area, but there are plenty of quiet walks around. The park features a playground, large cafe and facilities for all.

This visited this Park with friends and family. Its a huge park with good children play areas and facilities. It's a good choice to have a day trip and you will enjoy a lot here. Adventure for kids, mini golf, Family boats and kayaks, etc.. very well cleaned toilets always next to the Park Cafe. We went on a European summer fest event on a Sunday. Allover a very good experience. Parking is £3 for 6 hours.
