Decent trip for a family or younger kids. Nothing overly special, but it's a nice place to get outside so well worth a trip
Busy hot bank holiday visit. Sat under the trees. Paddled in the pool. Happy family picnic 😊
Mundy play centre is with Markeaton Park. A large open space park where there is enough space to be away from everyone or just wander through the park where others are. Children's play area, shallow boating lake, zip slide climbing area, crazy golf, bouncy castles, paddling pool etc, season depending. Small Craft village and cafe. Usual ducks, squirrels etc. Decent size car park with council pricing e.g £2.90 for 2hrs. Great for dog walkers, given the par size.. Check it out on Google maps for size..
Great place to bring your children, there is a paddling pool for the kids. Also for £5.60 there is the boating lake (kids only) when it’s busy you get 15 minutes but when it’s quiet it looks like you can stay out until your bored. The play park is great with plenty to offer the kids from climbing frames to a huge pirate ship.
A lot of activities here. Mini golf, car rides, bouncy castle, skate park, play ground, skyline. Paths are pram, wheelchair & Segway friendly. Parking costs £2.50 for 2 hours. There are many water features and different lengths of marked walking paths. It wasn't very busy when I came but it wasn't the warmest. Really good as there are lots of things for the kids to do.
