House inside was really nice although you get through it faster than you think. Gardens are really big and very nice. Only thing is I know we've had a heatwave recently but only one gardener working on it? So many dead or dying plants and flowers
Lovely historical garden with lots of beautiful plants and some pretty old trees. Great tea room with a range of lovely cakes and snacks with a shaded seating area outside. Always something different to see each time I visit.
Lovely gardens, nice mix of looking very natural but a lot of work to maintain it. Lots of little walks and benches to sit and relax. Interesting glass houses with amazing plants. We went when all the spring bulbs were in flower beautiful!
Beautiful gardens a delight to enjoy the peace and tranquility on a warm sunny afternoon. Lots of benches to sit.Free to enter and only £3 to park the car.
Came across this place by accident whilst we were out for a stroll one weekend . We was drawn in by the “free entry” sign at the gate 😂😂. To be honest plants ain’t really my think but this place is fantastic. It takes you away from the hustle and bustle of life for a little while whilst you stroll though the gardens and greenhouses. There is ample parking if you do drive and there is a small shop on site selling teas and coffees and maybe snacks. Great place to take a picnic basket now the weather is brightening up.
