Explore a unique collection of vintage vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, and period advertising spanning from 1899 to modern times.

Myreton Motor Museum, founded in 1966 by Willie Dale, houses an impressive collection of classic and vintage vehicles saved from destruction over decades of passionate collecting. Visitors can explore cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and commercial vehicles dating back to 1899, alongside an interesting assortment of period advertising, vintage posters, enamel signs, and toy vehicles that capture the golden age of motoring. | The museum is housed in converted cattle courts at Myreton, near Aberlady in East Lothian, and maintains many treasures from the original collection alongside newer acquisitions. The venue offers a family-friendly experience suitable for all ages interested in automotive history and nostalgia. Notable pieces include the Bullnose Morris Oxford (1925), famous as Dr Cameron's car from the TV series Dr Finlay's Casebook. | Located approximately 30 minutes east of Edinburgh between the seaside towns of Aberlady and Gullane, the museum operates seasonally with extended hours from March to October (10:30am-4:30pm daily) and reduced winter hours (10:30am-3pm Wednesday-Sunday). Admission is affordable with adult tickets at £10, children at £5, and concession rates available. Please note the museum is traditional in nature and does not currently accept card payments.

Fantastic hidden gem. The museum shows various vehicles from different generations. The lady who helped us on our visit on 3/12/25 was very friendly and welcoming.

Nice place with a decent collection of cars and bikes. No toilet facilities so make sure you've been before visiting. Only take cash.

A really great collection of vehicles at this place. A must-see for any petrolhead or classic car fan. Only qualm was the electricity was not working when we visited, however, the lady at front of house gave us a discount at half price for tickets. She was lovely and welcoming.

Absolute gem of a place. Lots of amazing cars all with info about them and their owners. Lovely lady proprietor who we had a smashing chat with too. Some iconic children's toys upstairs too. Much more inside than you would think. Inside the building is like a tardis with more revealed at every turn
