Great for families: It is a lovely place for both parents and children .Lots to see: There are many interesting things to look at. Six floors: The museum has six different levels to explore.Art and technology: Each floor focuses on art, technology, or a mix of both. More kids' activities needed: It would be better if they added more hands-on science experiments for children. Book in advance: You should reserve your spot ahead of time if you visit on the weekend.
Remember coming here as a child and now im bringing my own kids here. Absolutely fantastic and the Eurovision exhibition, especially for a massive superfan like me, was a lovely surprise, please keep that part! Unbelievable that this is free entry.
Brilliant for all ages. Really fun interactive exhibits for all ages. The school kids clearly loved every minute. I hadn’t visited for a while and was surprised how much it has changed. They’ve done a great job to make it engaging and enjoyable throughout. You forget you’re learning loads at the same time, real edutainment.
Took my students on a school trip here and there’s a lot more to do than the last time I remember. No real wait time. Food and drinks available on site although fairly pricey. Stairs and lifts to access the many floors it has to offer. They have an arcade for gamers now Lots of interactive exhibits around film, media, sound, music and special fx Lots of cool movie props to check out and of course the old school history of film with old tech. Has parking very near by and is easily accessible from Bradford city centre. The main square is literally across the road. There’s also cinema screenings, digital educatonal shows and sound experiments with a hall of mirrors. The imax is also basically next door :) Had an absolute blast with my students would deffo go again :) 8 / 10
What a beautiful gem the National Science and Media Museum is. The children were fascinated throughout our visit. It’s both educational and highly interactive, especially the Wonderlab, which they absolutely loved. It’s definitely a must visit if you’re in the area. Entry was free, and optional donation if you’d like to contribute. There’s paid parking available just behind the museum at Sharp Street Car Park. We paid £3 for 2 hours, which felt very reasonable, and it’s only a short walk to the museum.
