Fascinating history behind the falls and Tinworks. There is a guide on hand to take you around, but there are plenty of information boards at various sites of interest. The falls are quite amazing, but the upper deck was closed off due to vandalism. Perhaps there is no money left in the Trust for repairs to be carried out. Would have loved to have seen the constructions above and also the waterfall in its full glory. I still enjoyed, but if you do intend to go, you can extend your walk by visiting the twin viaducts opposite and Tenants Canal both old and newer Locks.

This is a small site, but really interesting and a lovely place - painted by several 19th. C. Artists. The powerful waterful has been used to grind corn, roll tin-plate, and now generate electricity. Good parking across the road, interesting education room, sadly not the usual NT cafe, so take your own provisions.

Lovely little distraction if you are in the area on the opening days, a ruined industrial site set in a paradisical small valley with waterfalls. An interesting insight into the history of the area. Very friendly staff.

Lovely welcome from the staff here, 1st National Trust place that I've com across that is free to enter. (Donations welcome) Obviously. Read about the tin industry in South Wales, at one point it was the best in the world. So interesting, waterwheel was not turning while we were there. Help yourself to tea and coffee. (Donations) Yes just a lovely place to visit. Highly recommend.

We were surprised by the fabulous tin mill that this is. The team working there were very friendly and the visit impressed 💯. It is a very quiet place where you can listen to the waterfall and birds and during the old times it must be a very noisy work place. You can find more reading the notes and walking around. The mill was in working order and it is worth the free visit here
