Good property with large grounds. There was an exhibition of finds from a recent archeology dig. Shows how long this land has been occupied. There was another tour to see the first floor,only £6. We did one of the trails, well sign posted, through the grounds. Even had a deer run across our path! Take a picnic, as we did, as the cafe gets busy and the food can be a bit dear. There are plenty of spots to stop and lunch. This is the third time we've been here, never disappoints.

Lovely place to visit, my son said "best National Trust place" 😊 the car park was full when we arrive at 11:20 on a Sunday but the place didn't felt very busy as it is big and you have so many places to walk and see.

Visited a number of times over the years and always something new to see. The house is nice to explore and the grounds offer multiple walks of varying distances through woodland, a deer park and a wall garden... well worth a visit at any time of the year.

Decidedly average... nothing wrong, all perfectly pleasant, but a B minus as best. There is no sparkle or individuality to this NT property. Everything is a box ticking half hearted attempt, resting on the laurels of its proximity to the A5 to bring in passing punters. Top recommendation: give it a miss, and headed instead to NT Erddig for character, a warm welcome, great walks and a significantly more interesting experience. Most hilarious aspect is the signs on the WW2 trail, asking people to be respectful of some random bits of disintegrating concrete slab, especially the one with two pipes projecting which might possibly have been a latrine. Miraculously we just managed tonhear a cuckoo over our chortling at that sign.

Been at least twice now to Attingham Park. Once during the autumn of 2023, and once during the spring of 2026. Bit different each time. House interiors mostly the same. The garden changes through the year. There is a café in the stableyard (coach house) and a mansion café. There is also an ice house to see from one path. During Bank Holiday's the car park gets quite full, plus overflow. But they allow parking on the nearby field.
