Carding Mill Valley is an absolutely stunning place to visit. The scenery is breathtaking, with beautiful hills, streams, and walking trails that offer spectacular views in every direction. The paths are well maintained and suitable for both casual walkers and more experienced hikers. The peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect escape from busy everyday life. A must-visit destination in Shropshire, and somewhere I would happily return to again and again. Highly recommended! 🌿🥾✨ Carding Mill Valley is known for its beautiful walking routes, wildlife-rich landscapes, and panoramic views across the Shropshire Hills.

Love Carding Mill Valley, been there twice now. Hills galore with different paths to explore, rivers running through and waterfalls, wildlife roaming freely and stunning views in all directions. Rocky terrain that is pretty challenging in places but if you love a challenge its definitely the place for it. Highly recommend for hike lovers.

Amazing beautiful place. There are 3 walks. The blue which says hour and half is a little misleading as it is an incline and you need to do a little rock climbing. Not for mobility issues. Lovely streams to cool your feet and waterfalls, not huge but still stunning. National Trust car park, cafe and Toilets at the start. I would recommend bringing kids to enjoy the hills

Beautiful walking area, with amazing views. The paths are hard going in places, especially going up to the waterfall. They're advertised as moderate but we found them challenging in places. Not advised if you have mobility issues. The different walk routes are well marked. Good cafe and parking area. We will be going back because we didn't make it to the top of Long Mynd because of time but what we saw was lovely. There were also Red Kites soaring above which made a spectacular sight.

We visit Cardinal Valley Park today and wow what an amazing place. We went on the lightspout waterfall walk which is 2.5km long and takes roughly 1.5hrs - 2 hours. Which has a gradual ascent of some tricky rocky bits but not too many, of which flattens out as you get to the top, where you are greeted with some amazing views of the waterfall and of the countryside, the descent is a little steep in places but no real tricky rocky bits, please wear appropriate footwear when on any of the walks. Once back down you can go treat yourself to a hot coffee and a piece of cake in the reasonable priced dog friendly cafe, with a lovely warm log burner. Make sure you get there early at the weekend as it does get very busy, there is plenty of parking priced at £6 with parking until 8pm. The carpark does soon fill up, but you can park at Church Streeton and have leisurely walk to the park
