Very interesting place to learn about who nobles lived in the past. Also fascinating to see how much work was done in the background with preparing meals and facilities for the upbringing of the young nobles... The garden is so pretty and peaceful. And they have a nice Café in the barn where you can get some great local specialties.

Wow the gardens were beautiful I could have walked around them all day. The house was massive and so interesting but we especially liked the kitchens. The church and thatched cottage in the gardens are worth seeing ....we spent over 4 hrs here and would highly recommend

Loads to see and even took my 3 year old around the house, whom was very impressed with the books in the library and loved the nursery and interactive games. Great tearoom with beautiful out door space.

A rainy Good Friday morning. But it didn't spoil the house experience. A lot to see around the house. Three separate routes to follow. Gardens nice and colourful. A lot of ups and downs. Suitable for all ages.

Lanhydrock House has to be the best National Trust place in Cornwall. So many rooms to see, the video of the history of the house is very informative. Great to see some of the volunteers dressed up in period costumes and they have a vast knowledge of the place so don't be afraid to ask any questions. Gardens are very well kept and the café serving refreshments. Highly recommend.
