Poorly sign posted paths. All overgrown with limited views of the landscape, with one small exception where a bench had been placed. Ordered 2 cream teas at the cafe and were inundated with a swarm of wasps to accompany the visit. No prior warning of this when ordering, lucky neither of us suffer with anaphylaxis around waits. Not a pleasant experience for £20 plus parking.

Beautiful place to explore! Brilliant for shade especially in the current heatwave! Dog friendly as well as baby friendly too! Accessible areas also as well as a brilliant place to relax by the stream.

Lovely location and great walks and will go back

Devon has many fantastic natural features, but river beaches and places to splash without waves isn't one the area are inundated with. This park is perfect for this - a beautiful, cool river with small beaches dotted along it. Brilliant for anyone seeking some peace in nature but isn't willing or able to take a serious hike, with a pleasant and reasonably priced cafe near the main entrance. Visited near the end of the peak season and did notice a little more litter than hoped for but cannot blame the park for this - remember everyone, if you pack it in you pack it out!

Loads of great dog walking. Here for 5 hours and not bored once. Parking fees could be better signed, quite hidden. Thoroughly enjoyed our day despite the erratic weather
