Great walks from the car park. Fairly large car park but very busy. Great views, lovely cafe with clean toilets.

This is the 5th time visiting this place, its a lovely peaceful place to relax! especially if its early in the morning or late afternoon as during bank holidays or weekends when the weather is nice it can get busy. If you want to watch a sunrise or sunset or simply chill this place is a good choice. ☺️ There is a coffee shop as well but check the opening hours as its not always open.

One of the best views across Surrey with a great cafe that is super dog friendly. The walks are very easy and picturesque. A bit noisy from traffic but this receded as we walked.

I've been walking here for more than fifty years and the ashes of all five of my past dogs are scattered there, so it is a spot close to my heart. Gone are the halcyon pre M25 days and now post Covid, it is overpopulated on the weekend, with accompanying litter. But at certain times during the week you can find yourself alone, the drone of the motorway is dulled and it is still a gorgeous, peaceful place, where you can wander accompanied with just the wind and the dog for company.

Great walk along part of the North Downs Way. From the car park the footbridge leads to Reigate Hill and the beautiful views south the less travelled route though is to cross Wray Lane and enter Gatton Park which was laid out by Capability Brown way back in the day. There is a good (hilly) circular walk to follow. Why not do both and stop for refreshments at the J8 cafe.
