Really enjoyed our visit to Stoneywell. Has to be booked in advance which has previously put us off but the online system was easy to use and we were able to book for the same day. Very convenient shuttle bus from the car park to the property, and back again. Enjoyed our tour around the house with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide - definitely worth doing for a first visit. Enjoyed the quiet of the woods and gardens, before heading for a cup of tea at the small tearoom.

Lovely stone cottage and gardens. The parking is a bit away from the house, but they have a shuttle from the car park. It was very windy and rainy when we visited so the tea room wasn't open. The volunteers were great and ours had been there when she was little, as he mother worked for the family! Wonderful history. Lovely walks when the weather is better!

Fantastic house and gardens. We spent over 3.5 hours there with little ones too. The views are fantastic and the flowers in the garden are beautiful. The house is very quirky. The staff are very friendly and the lady giving tours of the garden is so knowledgeable. Our tour lasted over half an hour! The cafe is small, but has everything you need, small bites of food. I'd recommend having a sling or baby carrier for little ones, as it's not so easy to get around with a buggy. Overall 10/10, we can't wait to come again! Thankyou
