First visit to this wonderful property and it did not disappoint. It was late in the day so we didn't do any of the walks on the grounds but we did the house tour - absolutely gorgeous house with some amazing pieces with a great history. Cafe onsite it always a plus. Will definitely be back.

A nice enough way to spend Easter Sunday . Admission is expensive , £12 per adult and no concession for seniors . House beautiful inside but tour short and a bit rushed . Café expensive and muffins and cake not the freshest. Wouldn't recommend .

What a fabulous gem. The gardens are beautiful, there is a great play area for kids, and the house is absolutely stunning. We had a wonderful guided tour from Helen who told the story of the house and its occupants in an engaging and thoroughly entertaining manner. Definitely well worth a visit.

Beautiful house to explore, left just as the prior owners had it. Lovely grounds for walks you can go along river, the grounds are also lovely. Come at the right time for the snowdrops it’s so very beautiful! Coffee house serving lovely coffees, and treats. It’s a great place to bring your family and dogs. Indoor play for the kids in the neon room, fab for a rainy day! I had a very special event - pilates by candlelight by Purpose Pilates, it was everything and more! I didn’t take enough photos to share, but highly recommend.

Excellent visit today at The Argory, the house was an interesting time capsule and Isobel an enthusiastic guide. We did the Blackwater walk and other paths and gardens which were beautiful, accessible and well managed. The Lace making demonstration was a fascinating bonus too. Final shout out to the cafe staff who not only provided excellent coffee and cake but went out of thier way to provide one of out party with with challenging dietry needs something to eat. Thank you all for a lovely day.
