A perfect open space to explore offering something special for every season. For summer, swathes of colour and inspiration for gardens back home, wrapped in children's laughter on the front lawn. And after the gentle stroll, a reward of a cuppa and scone, or maybe for those who have been particularly well behaved, a delicious ice cream. A perfect day
Wallington Hall and Gardens is a wonderful place to spend a day. I was really impressed by how beautifully maintained the gardens are, with plenty to see around every corner. The hall itself is full of character and history, making it fascinating to explore. What I enjoyed most was the peaceful atmosphere and the stunning grounds, which are perfect for a relaxing walk. A lovely National Trust property that I would happily visit again and recommend to others.
As a wildlife enthusiast, I wanted to visit the hide with what seemed like a good chance of seeing red squirrels. The wildlife hide had no wildlife at all! Thankfully the riverside walk was delightful and rich in wildlife. I can't comment on the house.
An wonderful place to visit. The house is beautiful, and open in most rooms. The grounds and gardens are just stunning and well tendered too. Must be one of the best Stately homes we have visited.
A must see National Trust site. Set in beautiful countryside with a wide range of walks for all abilities. Children are very well catered for. Staff and volunteers are very friendly and helpful. I particularly liked the Wellbeing wood, which includes an area with lean to planks where you can to forest bathe. Cafes and toilets are well situated. I didn't visit the hall today, but the admission includes a talk and tour of the hall. A lovely day out.
