Looks like a lovely bit of natural green in London, but is not open regularly! This is clear on their website only open once a month, but on Google maps says it's open 24hrs a day...

This place only opens once a month for 3 hours, and it's closed to the public otherwise. It was open today, and although I didn't see (or hear) many birds or butterflies, I did see many grasshoppers, bees, bumblebees and insane amounts of ladybugs. It was a very peaceful experience. It also has a small museum there with the history of place, which was very interesting

Really lovely nature reserve if you are authorised to access. I spent many happy times here as a child. If you have the privilege of entering with permission please respect the place
