Came across this by pure accident and it is only a stones throw from Newmillerdam Country Park. On street parking. No toilets and no refreshments, but only 5 mins from the main park itself where there various eateries. Short walk with some amazing wooden sculptures and great photo opportunities. Pushchair friendly.

Nice benches for picnics not far from the main road but quite away from the busy walks around the lake nearby

A hidden gem! Such a beautiful little area that's perfect for a quick walk or a longer wander around to see the range of wildlife about. Also the new labyrinth and garden area are a good interest for kids - makes it a really inviting spot. Often very quiet up there too which can be a welcome change from the nearby busy country park!

We cycled through the village green it's got a variety of apple trees, it's a shame it wasn't a bigger area to ride a bit more off road.A good place to walk the dogs

Lovely little hidden gem. Discovered it by accident. Only very small but lots of benches if you need a pause from daily life
