An interesting castle, owned and commissioned by a very unsavoury character and never finished. It's fine to just visit it, but it really is worth learning about its grim history. We visited Westray with Westraak who took us here and gave us a tour detailing the history of the place and what we were looking at, making it so much better than if we just looked around by ourselves.
