Lovely area. Great place for a walk or a picnic. There is an rc aircraft club here and decent parking (watch out for massive potholes). There are benches here and there. Cycling routes pass through and horses use the bridleway. This seems to be a popular spot with dog walkers - and many are off the lead, with varying degrees of control so if you are nervous of dogs, be warned. Also, people do not clean up after their dogs so be careful if you have small children.

A vast open space and a nature reserve too boot. There is plenty to do for the adventurous amongst us. Keep to the laid out path avoiding damage to wildflowers and bluebells.
