My little one had absolute blast at the openday on Fathers day. We got there 2pm and stayed for nearly the 3 hours, the staff and other members are lovely people to talk to and will be coming again. At most I queued for about 5 minutes, but most of the time was 1-2 minute wait. Open to the public May to October, tickets are £1 per ride very young kids are free on the 1st & 3rd Sunday. Highly recommend this for children under 5 .
Love this place! Been visiting since I was a kid. Can't recommend it enough
Great value for money, cash only place. No snacks sold just tea coffee or juice. Kids had a blast! The train maid marrion was spectacular.
Perfect place to bring young children on open days! At time of writing, train rides are £1 per go or £10 for 12 trips. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. My 7, 4 and 3 year olds had a great time. Infrequently open to the public, check the website for dates and times
Lovely place, off the beaten track and down a dead-end road which makes it harder to discover, but it's an absolute gem. Several different gauges of railway. Buy a ticket for £10 for 10-rides. Open to the public on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month between 2-5pm
