We attended recently for the fox cubs encounter and had a fabulous time. I had heard of the centre on Facebook but had no idea it was so close to Weston super Mare. We were able to play with and cuddle the cubs in a secure enclosure whilst being supervised by the very friendly and knowledgeable Woody. Afterwards we were able to hear about the many different birds and animals that are at the centre - it is so much more than just birds of prey! We will definitely go back another time to see all the others. I would certainly recommend this little business as an activity for families, children and adults alike. Thank you 😊

We did the Endangered Animal Experience and it was brilliant. You have to buy your ticket in advance (mine was a gift) and book a date. We handled the hog island boa, spent time with the hairy armadillo, hand fed the binturong and tong fed the American red foxes. We then held the Chilean Blue Eagle, Lanner falcon and boobook owl. Our guide was very informative and happy to answer questions about the animals. We also saw a baby meerkat! The meerkats aren't part of this experience but you can still see them in their enclosure. It was a great couple of hours.

Enjoyable hour spent here, hands on with some of the raptor collection. Knowledgeable host. Coffee and cake included as part of the guide fee. Quite expensive £58 for 2. Plenty of parking nearby.

Overall great experience. The young guy leading the session was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the birds, which made the experience engaging. At £48 per person it did feel a little on the pricey side for what’s included, but I understand it’s a niche, somewhat seasonal activity. For anyone on a budget, there’s also a £10 option just to watch, which would still be a fun experience for an hour or so 👍

Did one of their experience days with my Dad this weekend. Fantastic day. Learned a lot and enjoyed being able to hold the birds. Highly recommend a visit! I think we’ll go back to see the other animals at the centre on one of their open days if possible. A slight heads up, one of the flights of the birds involved having an owl fly to you and being able to hand feed it some raw chicken. The chap did ask if anyone wasn’t comfortable with touching the raw chicken piece. Normally I wouldn’t be comfortable without immediately washing my hands (which would have been impractical) but this was not my first bird of prey experience so I was prepared with sanitising hand wipes. But it was good of them to check everyone was okay with it. Just something to consider if you’re going to do an experience and are a bit icked out by that part.
