A beautiful place for a walk just outside the picturesque village of Osmotherley. There’s plenty of wildlife to see and hear - a really peaceful place. With free parking and lovely scenery, Cod Beck Reservoir is well worth a visit.

The North Yorkshire Moors National Park is a wonderful, unspoiled area to explore. It includes many different environments, including Moorland, Woodland and Heathland. The North Yorkshire Coastline is part of the area and it is great for Tourism, the seaside is easily accessed and all the usual holiday attractions can also be found, as well as more quiet and relaxing areas on the coastline and inland being available. The wider area is large enough to accommodate the needs of many different outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, sea swimming, climbing and boating, plus there are the usual seaside attractions and many places to stay for an extended holiday. This area is one of my favourite places to visit and I have been there at least once a year for many years.
