We visited today for the 'Sanctuary Saturday'. It was such a fun and unique experience and the staff are very friendly and considerate of both the animals and people. I think it is amazing that everyone who works here are volunteers and they clearly work so hard to look after all of the animals really well and to be a really welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors.

Although the weather was shocking, we had a lovely time meeting the animals and even got a personal tour to the horses in the field, well worth a visit

This little sanctuary is lovely. The volunteers aren't friendly and helpful. The animals are well looked after. What a treat. There is no cost to visit. They survive on donations though. Please leave one.

This is a wonderful gem of a place to visit. All run by volunteers, so check they are open before you visit. The passion they have for all the animals in their care can be felt and experienced during your visit. From ferrets, chickens, birds, alpacas, pigs through to the beautiful horses, all seem happy and very loved. We really enjoyed our visit.

What a lovely Afternoon we had here today, I am new to the area but I saw an advertisement for today and wanted to pass it on. It's their first day back open this year, I spoke to a few people when we was walking around who are from the area who said they did not know it was here, it is definitely worth a visit!! It is a Charity and all run by volunteers, it is free to enter (they just ask for a donations if you can spare anything). You only pay £1 for animal food and pay if you want to take part in walking some of the animals, all of this money goes back into the sanctuary the upkeep of the animals that they care for. You can take part in multiple activities for free also and there is a lovely cafe on site too which is so reasonable. The volunteers take time out to talk to the Children and explain things and answer questions they may have when taking part in activities, as you can see in one of the photos. My Son loves animals, so finding a place he can really get involved with the animals was great!! They have little events on throughout the year too. Such a wholesome day, we will definitely be back!
