great little park not far from rawtenstall. On the edge of the east lancs railway for the steam trains but limited visibility due to the mature trees long the track. Has different planting areas, woods, gardens, tennis courts etc etc. Great place for dog walking most dogs playing off lead but space for those that prefer to be on lead. Free parking and cafe run by volunteers, you pay what you think its worth or more. Great little park 👍

Free parking and plenty of it. Good play equipment well maintained. Loads of open space, a river, woodland areas, gorgeous views, the train goes by regularly and there are toilets and a cafe (part time opening). What’s not to love!
