Great park with a wide range of play equipment suitable for both younger and older children. The lakes and surrounding greenery create a lovely setting for family walks, dog walking, or simply relaxing and enjoying nature. There is a convenient car park attached to the park, along with plenty of nearby pay-and-display bays. You can also find free local parking if you’re lucky enough to get a space, and there are additional free options within a short walking distance. A Harvester pub is located right next to the park, offering a reasonably priced place to eat, and there are several local shops nearby if you need to pick up groceries. The only downside is the large number of ducks, which means there can be quite a bit of mess on the grass that’s difficult to avoid stepping in. Otherwise, it would easily be a 5-star park.

Great park, the playground has lots to do and is always clean. There are two ponds with lots of ducks which is nice when you’re going on walks. But there is lots of duck/bird feces around the park making it tricky to go for walks with my little one trying to run around. I am not sure why this park specifically is so bad with this issue as we don’t have this problem in other parks that have ponds. Would be great if this can be looked into

Lovely park, has a playground and play area for kids, ponds with ducks and geese and the occasional squirrels. It’s a nice place to relax and read a book if that’s your thing or play Pokémon Go. There’s also a restaurant on the premises so you can grab a bite if you want. It’s also a great place to walk your dog. There’s a connecting park on the other side of the road which is also Oakmere. It’s quite serene and has more wildlife there.

Fantastic park, we went there with two boys (3 and 7) and we all enjoyed it. I cannot wait to see it in all of the seasons. Spring walking is highly recommended here. There are two playgrounds, two lakes and many place to play football, badminton or something else. Also good place for a picnic.
