Lovely scenery. Well maintained path. Lots of birdlife. Not a huge amount of parking. Great place to walk dogs on lead too.

I took a drive here for a stroll with the family and it was really nice, a simple route, nice little huts with information on the birds, lots of dog walkers and photographers enjoying calm fresh air by the river.

Always a popular place, especially in the spring weather that has arrived. Parking available at the end of the road in but it is limited and the road can become choked with cars parking on the side. The walk around the scrapes with the hides and along the Swale can be very enjoyable - best time is low tide when birds are feeding on the mudflats. Other walks across the marshes and along the Saxon Shore Way are rewarding. Don't forget your binoculars. In winter and after heavy rain paths can be very messy.

Beautiful place and a great walking trail options. Many lovely birds to see, some my partner and I had never seen before. Definitely recommend wearing boots!
