A tough but extremely scenic route which takes in the best that Welsh and English landscape can offer. On reflection I’d do it in two 10 Mile stages.

Great place to visit, it’s a very long trail if you decide to attempt it. There is also an ultra run that takes you along all or part of it depending on preference. Good view from the start point too

We have started the walk and got as far as 2 miles short of pandy Its well marked Some steady climbing in places Though the next section is a real challenge Unfortunately we had to deal with very very muddy conditions , luckily not much rain in the day , but most nights it did just that 🤣

I've walked down to the beach mainly to look for fossils (which there is a lot of!). The trail was very muddy and wet and there honestly wasn't much to see, but the view from the shore was very nice during the sunset. Good place to visit if you want to find fossils or watch the sunset, but other than that, its below average compared to other beaches.

One end of the 177-mile National Trail. Pleasantly surprised that there is a metal plaque mounted on a boulder marking this fact. A few steps away is a cliff edge lined with fence and trees, but you can just get a view south over the River Severn.
