Parking was an absolute nightmare, there are not many food vendors on the beach and theres more pebbles and stones than sand. Overall, beach is beautful and nice for day out with clear water but the other aspects were not so fun. Always plan ahead when going here only one main road that leads to beach.

Oxwich beach was the 2nd beach we visited on a South Wales short break. It's a large family friendly beach, with parking right next to the sea, if you get there early. Parking was £7.00 for the day. There are a number of large, smooth stones on the beach between the sand on the water, so water shoes are a sensible choice. The tide does go out a long way. The tide was out whilst we were there and at that point the bottom was a very gradual slope and you had to walk out quite a way to get it up to your waste. There are toilets on the sea front. Saunas, a shop, cafe, although the cafe was not open that day due to it being out of season.

Lovely beach (bit stony in places) offers a nice walk when the tide is out and amenities for ice-cream, coffee, or sandwiches if you don’t go prepared. Pay to park is fair, best to take cash as contactless payment doesn’t always work.

£7.00 for the car park It has all the facilities you need, toilets, shops & a choice of food outlets. Obviously the miles of beach are the main attraction

A family friendly, busy beach. The sea is relatively calm here, making it a safer spot for swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding. A good beach for beach activities like beach fires during sunny seasons. There's a large car park right next to the beach,literally on the beach. Also, there are cafés and restaurants and even free public toilets nearby the beach.
