The kids get on with their teachers really well. They seem to be learning really quickly. Facilities are good and clean. We've liked it more than swim! Which seems to be a rapid turn over of staff and suffers from quality issues as a result.

Spent nice time at the Shiremoor facility. Went with my family – including my 2 years old grandson. Enjoyed the sensory hour with low level lighting – seemed relaxing for young children. The pool water temperature was fine for adults but a bit too cold for very young babies. The temperature of the showers was difficult to control – either too hot or too cold. The absence of lockers was a problem – had to leave car keys / etc. in a cubby hole. Won’t stop me going back though.

Lovely and warm, Friendly staff. Only have 1 disabled parking bay could do with having more than 1 as once this has been took its a pain to fit in a normal bay when its busy and needing the door wide open for wheelchair users. Only have 1 disabled changing room but its only bigger with baby changing bench & not a disabled bench/bed. No disabled showers. Other than that its lovely. Cafe/soft play area for babies. Definitely recommend

Lovely depth for swimming with the family and swimming lessons from newborn to school age. Teachers are really engaged with the kids and there's a good sized viewing area to watch lessons.

Absolutely amazing experience at PaddlePod Shiremoor. Attend swimming classes here through the tiny lives charity. The welcome from the reception staff is friendly and attentive. The instructors who run the classes are great and very inclusive and understanding. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!
