The way they handle pool bookings is a complete joke. For the past few years, all the spots have been taken. I used to go to the pool with my child and had no issues, but for the last 2–3 years, I haven't been able to get in.

Joined here recently due to the very reasonable price of £13.50 a month for an over 60's swim pass. The water is a nice temperature. However I am very disappointed to find that the changing village is filthy and it smells of dirty bodies and the shower cubicles of urine. I dislike changing villages anyway, whilst they are good for families, who must come first in these places, I don't want to see men wrapped in only a towel in the same area that I am changing although there are separate cubicles you cant avoid interaction by the lockers. There is no swimsuit spinner. What I am saving in not belonging to the fancy gym at the hotel I am spending in water and electricity to wash everything every time I go. Lane swimming timetable is not accurate, on a Monday mid morning session for example half the pool is an aqua fit class led not by a person but by a loud AI voice on a T.V. You can call me a snob but the people deserve better. Get the bleach and the scrubbing brush out! Very disappointing.

went there twice now / both times I had either a cough or a cold 2 days later to sort out / I go swimming wherever I am and I dont think its by chance . Went friday morning ...online it said 6 lanes public swim.....when i arrived @5.50 GBP there were 3.5 lanes public and the rest was for the club swimmers . .. ..which you dont want on your lane because they dont swim to relax they swim to stress out ....3.5 lanes to share with like 25 others doesnt match the 5.50 gbp they charge at all

This was my first visit after the temporary closure of St Anne's on Sea swimming pool. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The changing rooms were not very clean but it was busy. I did find cleaner and drier rooms further round from the lockers. A lot of the lockers did not have a strap but I had a band so I was able to find one without and attach the band - I find this really annoying about swimming pools. However, they do have combination lock lockers but it wasn't clear to how to use them. The swim img pool was great with 7 lanes for different abilities. The tempersture was okay - I'll definitely go again but will be prepared next time

Friendly and helpful Staff. Great classes, knowledgeable instructors. Like the new techy gym equipment. Overall really happy😊 Only downside is the changing rooms, the extraction needs to be fixed also an air freshener would be nice. They do look clean but it can smell of Stagnant water and stale deodorant.
