One of my favourite places I've been. £6 entry per adult is a steal for this place. Better than most national trust places I've visited. Although you can't enter the house the grounds are enough to walk around and eat lunch for a couple of hours. Plenty of places to sit and eat as you walk around. Those is a must see place in my opinion

Wonderful until the cafe! Bought an ice cream and needed a new mortgage.. £4.10 for a magnum 😞😭 £6 entry into the parc, lovely tranquil walk. Hardly saw anyone. Couple of dog walkers but on the whole empty.

Lovely park to lazily walk around with some interesting features. Plenty of places to have a picnic and lots of bridges crossing over the river there. unusual art installations such as a hand coming out of a pond , a cave, amphitheatre, courtyard with small shops and a lovely cafe where staff were so helpful food was homemade too and reasonably priced. we had piping hot cottage pie and warm scones. We will definitely be visiting again to try the roast dinners on offer Would highly recommend we were 3 adults and a 4 year old who loved it there too. 10/10 👏👏👏

What a lovely day out! I visited yesterday with my children, and we had a great time. When we arrived, the lady in the shop was very friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of information to make the most of the day. We enjoyed the Easter activities for the children, and spent over 2 hours exploring. The children had lots of fun in the little play area while I enjoyed a brew outside the little cafe. When we were leaving, the lady in the shop gave us some great advice about a local beach and some other nearby attractions, which we visited too. A lovely day out, for a really low cost. Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes exploring.

Peaceful and quiet. Nice walkes in the forest and dog friendly. Says keep dogs on leads in the park. Lovely cafe and really friendly staff. Cakes are amazing. Have nice gift shop with quality and unique things. Bit sad the gardens are looking in need of maintance and the big house is closed off to visitors. Seems to be lacking money to maintain things...not surprising these days. If you are looking for a relaxing stroll in interesting park gardens then this is perfect.
