Great place for walks, bike rides and bird watching. But take your self's a picnic as they advertised the cafe but that only does food over the weekend, which is misleading. Traveled for an hour hoping to get food and enjoy the scenery but let down by the cafe.

Great place for family and dog walks with a nice scenery towards Ramsgate. There are easily accessable toilets as well as a small cafe with a seating area.

I really like this place. There's all the usual essentials (toilets, cafe, kids playground), and then there's the grounds. The paths and tracks are well-kept, making it easy to walk. Much of the vegetation and foliage is given the absolute minimum of intervention, allowing nature to sculpt a masterpiece. Amazing to think that you until the late 70s, it was a landfill site! There are ponies and bison grazing in some of the fields. If you're lucky, you might get close enough for a few photos. Also, two breeds of seal colonize pay of the nearby nature reserve. They were out at sea today, so I didn't get close enough for a snap. Well worth a visit. Well worth return throughout the year as the seasons change too.
