Beautiful views, picked a great day to climb up to the trig point, a scorching hot Bank Holiday, wasnt really busy, partly because there are multiple routes to the top with fantastic views. Didnt have time to look for the Pendle witches but theres always next time

Amazing walk up Pendle Hill with stunning panoramic views from the summit. The trail was well worth the effort, and the scenery was beautiful throughout. A real highlight was spotting a Dotterel, which made the visit even more memorable. Great place for hiking, wildlife watching, and enjoying the Lancashire countryside. Highly recommended for anyone who loves the outdoors.

Absolutely stunning views. We took the less strenuous route to the top which was a good decision for us! The descent was a bit tricky as the terrain was very rocky and both me and my friend slipped and fell on loose rocks. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our walk.

I try to do this hike from Barrowford once a year during the summer. It’s a lovely route and not too challenging for most hikers the direct climb up to the peak is quite steep and the summit can also be windy so be ready for that! You get great views of the surrounding area including Colne, Burnley and the forest of Bowland. It’s also worth stopping off in the quaint village of Barley for a picnic (if the weather’s nice!) before making the climb to the top!

Love this hill. So many different routes up and down and the difference between winter and summer is fantastic boggy, cloudy, cold, windy and quiet in winter and clear, hot, dusty and busy in summer and it has views of blackpool tower, the lake district and even snowdonia on a very clear day.
