Large woodland in Penn. Lots of trails to walk along. Fairly muddy but we have had so much rain recently. Beautiful trees, loads of squirrels and plenty of bird life around. We parked in a car park near the church. Beautiful quiet place to have a bit of fresh air and get those steps in.

I have always loved visiting Penn Woods over the years , over 15 years using different side entrances, Less dogs as its a smaller acred woods , lots of woodland areas , easy trials to follow , Great for dog walking , cycle paths

Great woods for a walk. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and we hardly saw anyone else there which we liked especially during these times. There’s a pond in the woods. We saw a young deer in the distance which was nice to see.

Beautiful diverse wood with open areas as well as thickly wooded areas. Ponds, foxes, rabbits and deer as well as 10 cows. Purple Emperor spotted last year. Birds include red kites, bramblings (in season), green and great spotted woodpeckers.
