It is definitely worth a visit ☺️, play area for children , a small cafe with seating area outside. Loads of seats and a few tables around the actual place if wanting a picnic 🤔

Always a good morning walk. Park is lovely and well kept. Toilet facilities are available and clean. Lots of pic nic spots. Ice cream and hot drinks available to buy around the park. Dog friendly place. Nature watch point and fantastic park.

Amazing place! Has cafe ,wc ,secure parking (all day for £2.50) Playground for kids Dog friendly environment Loads of trails for walking. In summer the best place for picnic and fun. Has sailing club Today was so muddy so don't forget to grab wellies if you plan to go soon😁

Lovely circular walk around the lakes. This place gets busy but if you park in the overflow carpark (which is always empty yet it's actually the closest place to the play park) and walk away from the cafe and play park area, it's much quieter. Beautiful nature. Watching the boats on a sunny day is lovely to see.

Now with the new cafe it seems busier still at peak times. Lucky I don't go peak times too often. Beautiful for sunrise and sun set, walk or bike its a wonderful setting.
