Visited the Alexander Stadium for the Euro Athletics Champs. Really well organised arrival and departure and shuttle travel. Lots of guides. Ticket and security v well organised. Plenty of choice of food and drink across varied price ranges. Well organised seating all with good views of events. Great in stadium commentary from Geoff and Katherine... superb night and day sessions. Well done Birmingham 👍👍

Perry Park is a great place for families, walkers, and anyone looking to enjoy some fresh air. The park has plenty of open green space, scenic walking routes around the reservoir, a modern children's play area, football pitches, and the impressive Alexander Stadium nearby. It's well suited for picnics, exercise, and spending time outdoors. The only downside is that some areas can suffer from litter, especially during busy periods, and a few more bins and regular cleaning would make a noticeable difference. Overall, it's a well-maintained park with excellent facilities and definitely worth a visit.

I've only gone and only visited the new play area with the family. Lovely new swings, slides, climbing frames What i loved most was the fact both parent and child can swing together in one swing opposite each other. What i also loved about the new play area was it's got a modern take on it, got a digital touch posts that are spaced out in a circle and one in the middle, you can play various games on which i think it's powered by a solar panel, keeps you very active as the games are timed. Good easy access to the park straight off the main road to a free car park. There were 3 litter bins there but unfortunately get easily overwhelmed and also some people not using them so the litter is all over the floor. Could do with periodic cleaning.
