Great place for younger kids approx 3-8 y/o. Our toddlers could use all of the rides; the swan boats and the little train were definitely the highlights. The rides, flume, splashpool and playpark are also great and made for younger kids. You do need good weather as all of the activities are outdoor. The restaurant and ice cream stand provide perfectly good food. Prices are reasonable especially if you buy the family ticket. The only downside is that there is no parking on site so you have to park on a main street and walk to get there.

I recently visited Pickie Fun Park. It’s a decent spot for families, especially for young kids. There are some activities, but not a wide variety, so older children or adults might find it a bit limited. The park is fine for a short visit, and kids can still have a good time. However, it’s not very suitable during rainy weather, as all activities are outdoors. Overall, it’s an okay place for kids, but expectations should be moderate.

This was our second visit to Pickie Park and we’ll certainly never come back. When we first came years ago, our kids were just babies and were the only ones there on a very rainy day and, presumably, the owner couldn’t have done enough for us and was very accommodating even though there wasn’t a lot that the kids could make use of. This time the kids were 4 and it was a complete waste of money. They had the most fun at the park, which was free anyway. The staff were honestly awful. No level of common courtesy, never mind customer service. I never expect special treatment but a “hello, thank you, bye” or actually responding when I ask a question instead of pulling faces at me is just human nature that the staff must not have. It was raining again but we’re not made of sugar so didn’t mind too much and when we arrived were the only ones there. Went on the flumes first and the “boy” had a towel available to dry seats. We had to ask him could we use it to give them a wipe before the kids got on and he rolled his eyes. Same thing again when they went on the merry go round thing. Park was good enough but everything was rusted and the plastic on the ladders was starting to come off. You’d think repairs and maintenance would be done before the seasons starts. And it was a bank holiday too so the lack of other people spoke volumes. Train was good and that staff member actually had a voice. We were told kids wrist bands were all that were needed to get on everything, but they weren’t allowed on anything but the merry go round by themselves so we had to go back and buy a ticket for us. Common sense lacking here. By the time we were going to the Swans, one of the kids started to get annoyed so we talked with him, right beside staff member and told him he wasn’t to stand up, lean over, and behave etc. Typical 4 y/o when he got in he did lean over to touch the water and immediately we corrected him, pulled him back and told him no. Just as the staff member pushed us off, he looked at me with what can only be described as scorn and said “you watch him”. Rules are there for a reason and I obviously want to teach and protect my child but thanks for the parenting lesson mate. £50 for an hour. Total waste of time and money and would have had more fun watching the construction on the marina.

Great place. Kids loved it. I noticed most of the staff are like teenage years, mostly friendly but one that works over at the little ducks on the water, he just didn't care about the people or the fact he was there plus a little rude to the kids. The park needs updated big time

Anytime my kids are down they love the place, always just pay the all day pass £15 each gets them on every multiple activities, multiple times. All they need to do is join back of a que. The splash park bit when it's decent weather they probably love the most. The cafe/food shop really does great food. I actually love the beef burger, bacon and cheese and the chips are real chips. 5/5
