Great place to spend a rainy afternoon with my 2 grandchildren. Lots of imaginative play, very well equipped and plenty of space. The cafe was also very nice. Everything spotlessly clean and well organised. I will go back.

Giving this place a 5 as we have visited multiple times and always had a great time and found it worth the money, with the hour and a half zipping by and loads to do in each room. the people running it are also really lovely, the cafe food tasty, and it's such a great venture. Thoughts on improvements: -soft mats in some spaces (the concrete floors feels hairy for toddlers heads) -bits for children at the cafe, even if it was plain ham/cheese sandwiches (might encourage everyone to 'have lunch together' afterwards)

We absolutely love Pickle Street. I come at least once a week with my little one, and it’s honestly one of our favourite places in Bedminster. The amount of detail in the little shops is so lovely, especially the mini-club, The Half Moon, which is just brilliant. You can tell so much thought has gone into making the place feel fun, imaginative and special for children. Such a gem for local families. We’re very lucky to have it.

I took my niece here over the Easter weekend. While, yes, the floor is cold - just double sock it and you'll be fine! There was plenty to do in a less stimulating environment. My 2 year old niece absolutely loved it here and entertained herself entirely with what they had to offer.

Visited last week and was very disappointed. Not geared up to children very well at all. The place is stark and freezing. Everyone is required to remove their shoes upon entry, the floor is concrete with no mats or soft landing(!) I saw two children fall from chairs, I dread to think of the impact if they had landed on their heads! In this day and age, to have a child's play area with a concrete floor is absurd, not to mention how much colder it made us. I mentioned this to the lady at the counter and she said to 'stand in one particular spot' under a heater as this would be the warmest place to stand! The heater was never turned on, my toddler was shivering when we left. For the cost of a few soft mats to put in each area it would make all the difference. The interior is very underwhelming, plain white washed walls, very little items to play with, the 'doctor's surgery' resembled more of a prison cell. They put too much effort into the 'shop fronts' and not enough on the actual play areas where the children spend their time. For the price they are asking (much more than the other competitors in bristol) its definitely not worth the money. I recommend Pickle street take a look at Tots and tea pots/ocean adventures to see how its done, both of them, warm, inviting and safe/stimulating for little ones.
