One of Scotland's most beautiful playgrounds with natural wooden construction, nautical theming, and stunning Forth bridges views.

Described as hands down one of the most beautiful playgrounds ever visited, North Queensferry's Pierhead Play Park features entirely natural wooden construction rather than metal and plastic. The nautical theming includes a wooden play boat with octopus design and a lighthouse climbing tower with telescope and slide—perfectly complementing the waterfront setting. Balancing logs, stepping elements, swings, seesaws, and monkey bars round out the equipment. The stunning views across the Firth of Forth to all three famous bridges create an exceptional backdrop. Nearby stands the world's smallest operational light tower, entertaining children of all ages. Benches and picnic tables invite families to linger while enjoying the water views. Best for toddlers and juniors.

I love this wee park. I grew up in the village so I'm nostalgic about it anyway but with the views, the varied park equipment to play on and the Cleanliness, its a lovely wee place to spend some time. Bring a picnic and take a wander round the village while you are visiting 😀

Beautiful park! It was really quiet as I think most people just don't know it's there (it's tucked away off the end of the road). Clean, a good mix of things for young and older kids. Definitely going back!

A great place as you have an amazing backdrop to this play park with quite a lot for the younger children to play on as you relax with many modern additions and take some amazing pictures of them and the stony beachfront and both the Forth bridge and road bridge with the further Queensferry crossing. If you have kids then this is a must visit even if its just for a 10 minute stop

A wee gem. Tricky to find parking when busy, but you can't beat a play in the park on a sunny day, kids love it. Excellent views of the bridges and happy atmosphere make it even more special.
