What a lovely place! I brought my son here last year to attend a Raceway event organised by his Scouts group. Brilliant! Saw online that they open the miniature railway to the public every 3rd Sunday of the month between 10am and 3pm. At £1.50pp/ride I thought it would be a nice thing to do with my daughter (7) and son (12). The ride on miniature trains are beautiful and the ride itself is well worth the £1.50 each. The centre also has a couple of woodland based play parks. One suitable for younger children, the other suited to the more physical and adventurous. It has a great assault course for the children to enjoy (even the adult children). We stopped off at the onsite clubhouse style bar/cafe. There was a young pre-teen birthday party going on in their function room with great music choices. I had a can of coke, git my son a bottle of lucozade and my daughter a hot chocolate... when her hot chocolate came out it had squinty cream, mini marshmallows and a flake with it... my son decided he wanted one too so got him one along with some scampi fries and bacon fries (typical bar snack). They are a dog friendly venue and had two inhouse pooches wondering around and looking cute. They also had their resident parrot (Charlie) squawking away as you come in and leave (no fingers, he bites). My only negative point is that they had a Cappaccino Milkshake advertised on the counter but didn't have the flavouring available so I had to miss out this time. I will definitely be going back there again with my children. The centre also doubles as a sports leisure centre but I am not sure what facilities they provide as sports is not my thing. The area is surrounded by a jumber of woodland walks too. (Doggy friendly). Well worth looking them up for a simple afternoon out with the family.

A fun short of a mile long mini railway 🛤 track great for adults and children. A run ride around spot the fairy doors and gnomes around the track. They're also advertising a special ride for Christmas with santa 🎅 at 10. A ticket 🎟 They sell single rides or 4 rides for 5.00 It is a fun place to experience ✨️ for old and young there's a dog friendly cafe not far from the mini railway about 3mins to walk if that

Such a cute place .. I was more excited than my one year old daughter.. I managed two trips on different trains. Loved the experience. I will visit the place again whenever possible.

It's super nice specially for kids. There are many activities to do, Toy train 🚂 ride makes it more special, which is available once a month, so check the schedule before planning the trip.

My husband, our two sons and I visited today. It is a beautiful place to go. On arrival we walked up and onto field at top of car park then had a picnic. We all attempted the trim trail and then headed to the trains where we had two rides. The boys absolutely loved it and had fun in the playground before we left for home. Recommended.
