One of the best waterfalls and natural spots for hiking and exploring. The scenery is absolutely stunning, with beautiful walking trails and a peaceful atmosphere. A perfect place to enjoy nature and spend a relaxing day outdoors.
The road to the waterfall is very narrow in places and goes on for longer than is comfortable. Drive with care and attention. The car park intially seems tiny but the overflow is fairly large. Remeber to pay using the electronic system. This is automated and will ticket you if you forget. The waterfall itself is exceptional! Truely everyone should see this! The paths can be steep and narrow but the views are worth it. The cafe is decent but there are plenty of places for a picnic if prefered.
Amazing waterfall, worst visit. Beter to go early mornings as road is very tight and can be a bit challenging to pass the cars. Road have passing places but some drivers still scared to drive.
Pistyll Rhaeadr was honestly one of the most impressive places we’ve visited. Nature truly creates the most perfect masterpieces, and you can feel that everywhere in this incredible location. The waterfall is absolutely breathtaking and the whole atmosphere feels peaceful, powerful, and magical at the same time. Right next to the waterfall there is a lovely café where you can enjoy a delicious coffee or a warm, tasty meal while admiring the incredible view from the terrace. There are also beautiful walking trails around the area, and it’s even possible to hike up to the top of the waterfall. We couldn’t do the full walk this time because we were with the children, but we will definitely come back again to experience it properly. A truly unforgettable place and absolutely worth visiting.✨🌿💦
Stunning waterfall. Care needs to be taken paths are slippery with some high steps if you want to get close. But can be seen just as well from a distance. Parking £5. 50p to use the toilets 🤦. Cafe on site, friendly staff but very average food.
