A pleasant atmosphere even on bank holiday Friday, plenty heaters keeping the play area warm. A variety of activities and dress up for the kids. Some items were a bit broken but on the whole everything was well maintained and nothing dangerous. Good coffee from the Cafe too.

We have visited here many times, actually it’s one of the very few places we return to time and time again. We recently had my daughters 4th birthday party there and I could not praise it enough, all the children had a fantastic time and parents who hadn’t visited before commented on how lovely it was! The girls working couldn’t have done enough for me and helped everything run smoothly, we never once felt rushed when setting up or packing away, everything was communicated to me perfectly before and during the party. I have always found play - tropolis to be clean and welcoming and my children always have the best time. Thank you for always providing a brilliant place to play and for a brilliant birthday party!

We had such a fantastic time at Playtropolis! The play areas are clean, safe, and really well laid out, with plenty to keep children of all ages entertained. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which makes such a difference. The café is great too – good variety of food and drinks, all reasonably priced and perfect for a quick bite while the kids burn off energy. The whole place has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, and you can tell it’s well cared for. Highly recommend for a fun day out or a birthday party – we’ll definitely be coming back! 😌

Not worth the price TL;DR - I wouldn’t rush to come back or believe the pictures. Food was slow ( it was toast ) and the whole experience for the price was “meh”. £14 for two adults one child is daylight robbery for what’s offered. The website makes the venue look so impressive, but even on arrival driving through what may as well have been a WW2 battlefield with all the potholes, it didn’t give a good first impression. The entrance I can see how other reviewers have mentioned resembles a night club and it’s kinda wait and see who comes out to greet you. and then once you’re through, that’s when the fun begins! ( not ) Tables to sit, not anywhere near enough and you’re left stood around if you’re not the first in the door. Mentioned this to staff who said they would locate chairs and then never did. We attempted to order food ( toast and toastie ) and just as we were about to ask for a refund 40 mins later it turned up with no apology, just a comment of “we are busy”…. ITS TOAST! The individual rooms are heated, almost too hot, but then the rest of the areas are stone cold. There are heaters on the walls but I don’t think they work or at least were not turned on. Disappointing. The play rooms, well, they’re big and spacious, but in terms of toys” some rooms were practically empty and what wasn’t empty was either not clean or broken. The supermarket in particular had plenty of food baskets on the shelves, but it was so bare that you would think we were back in Covid fighting for toilet roll 😂 The space centre in the corner, one bubble light in a dark room, wow, my mind was absolutely blown ( at how bad it was ). For the price point being charged for entry there are other venues close by who I would say offer a lot more at quite literally half the price. I am not a stingy man, but even I thought I’d had my pants pulled down by the entry fee for what you don’t get.

I recently hosted my daughter’s 4th birthday party at Play-Tropolis, and it was an absolute hit! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and made everything so easy. The venue itself is bright, clean, and filled with fun activities that kept the kids entertained for hours. My daughter and her friends loved the imaginative play areas. The party package was fantastic, with plenty of options to customise everything to our liking, from decorations to food. They were also great with the kids, ensuring everyone was safe and having fun. We got so many compliments from other parents about how well-organised and fun the party was. Overall, Play-Tropolis made my daughter’s birthday unforgettable. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to throw a memorable, stress-free party. We'll definitely be back!
