Brought my son as we both love retro gaming!! Absolutely loved it, plenty of choice for consoles and arcade machines!! My only negative is that you have all the cabinets with history of gamin and consoles crammed in there and hidden behind stuff so couldn't really see them which is a shame because they look amazing and should be shown off!!

The nicest people and reasonably priced Pokémon cards. Truly the best place for a Pokémon lover!! Also very anti scalper.

I booked two hours at Playback Arcade for my daughter and 5 pals to celebrate her birthday and it was utterly fantastic! The place is chock full of every game you can possibly think of. From Pac-man and racecars, to dance machines and shoot-em-ups. For me the piece-de-resistance was their extensive collection of vintage pinball machines. I gave myself a pinball blister from too much enthusiasm - I had forgotten how fun it is. Honestly a proper inner-child delight. The kids were in seventh heaven and my husband and I had so much fun too. Usually, when parents drop their kids off for a party, they're eager to get away and make the most of their free time - in this case, a couple of dad asked if they could stay so they could play too! We were so well taken care of - the booking process to have the place to ourselves was easy, and Nick, the owner is friendly and communicative. Most of their business is just from walk up - you can pop in for an hour or two, and for a flat rate, play on everything, so no need to supply endless pound coins. This place is a gem - we''ll be back every Saturday we have free time - so much fun!!

Playback Arcade is an amazing and totally nostalgic place! The owners are friendly and very helpful; you can see the love they have for retro games. Some games weren't working yet, but it's understandable, since the maintenance of these machines needs to be done by the owners, sometimes requiring improvising components to replace what broke... The entrance fee is great, and you can leave and re-enter using the identification wristband. It's an experience that's well worth it.

Difficult to know where to start, took my 12 yo son and he loved it. Loads of different machines/types/era's represented, most playable, some on display. Loads more out back assumingly to repair/recommission/rotate in. Was a lot of fun and seeing my son playing duck hunt and Goldeneye was priceless. Great job guys, keep it up, more multilayer would be good, like TMNT or Double Dragon 🙂
