I am writing this to warn other parents about the appalling management and illogical policies at Wacky Playhouse. We visited with a gift card (no expiry date) received as a party favor, but the experience was a nightmare: 1. Contradictory & Absurd Excuses: The staff refused our card, claiming that "cards were stolen three months ago," so they wouldn't honor any card without a date. However, they then told us the card COULD be used at their other branches, just not this one. This is completely illogical—if a card is flagged as "stolen," why would it be valid elsewhere? It felt like a deliberate attempt to force us into paying for a walk-in entry. 2. Targeted Treatment: While we were being interrogated at the entrance, I saw other local families entering with ease. There were no signs or official notices posted about "invalidated gift cards." We felt unfairly singled out and treated like suspects. 3. Unpleasant Environment: The moment we entered, there was a strong, sour smell (like old sweat) lingering in the air. We were willing to tolerate the poor hygiene for our son's sake, but the rude and hostile attitude of the staff was the final straw. 4. Heartbreaking Experience: The staff showed zero empathy for a child's disappointment, even while they were "monitoring" us via CCTV. This place lacks basic professional ethics and hygiene standards. To the management: Your internal security issues (stolen cards) are your responsibility, not the customers'. Do not punish children for your own administrative failures. Avoid this place at all costs! I will NEVER recommend my friends or family to hold kids' birthday parties there anymore. Your gift cards will become trash in front of that impolite staff. A place that treats children and guests with such disrespect does not deserve your business.

Love this wacky the staff are always welcoming especially Charlotte, the girls find her very helpful and she's always there to hand out the crayons and paper for drawing.

This is a great place for younger kids, not to big. Theres indoor and outdoor area, although the outdoor equipment could do with some work as not everything was safe. Food and drinks served, access to toilets, staff are very friendly, good prices. It does get busy especially if theres a kids party or its warmer weather. Lovely place to go and spend with the family especially on a sunny day.

We stopped here to break up a long drive to Scotland and could not have picked a better place! Although it was super busy when we arrived at 1630 on a Saturday, Amy at Wacky warehouse made sure we got a table when one became available. She went above and beyond sorting us a table in the pub for food, taking our order and letting us know when food was ready - so that our 3yo could play for as long as possible. We were absolutely blown away by the5 star service!! Kiddo had the best time in the soft play too ☺️
