I didn't explore the whole park, but I got to see the glorious coos and walk around the gardens. It's a really pretty park and a great opportunity to see the highland cows/some wildlife up close. Free shuttles are also available for getting around the park, which is fantastic!
A lovely park especially great to see Highland Cows. We saw the usual rust colour Highland Cows as well as black and white ones. If you are lucky they can come close to the fence and you can get a good look at them. The setting is beautiful with wooded areas and fields for the cows. Perfect in the autumn as the landscape is stunning. There is a car park too. Would highly recommend a visit to Pollok Country Park to get close to nature.
such a great place to see cows in glasgow. be aware the house is still under construction but the museum and restaurant are amazing and the cows come right up to you it’s amazing!! its so beautiful here and pollockshaw west stop on train will drop you off perfectly in front of the park
Beautiful park! 🏞️ There were so many Highland Coo's. 🐮 We got to pet them and scratch behind their ears. They were so friendly and cute! 😍 The paths were very pretty and the Burrell Collection was very cool and had such a variety of gifts in the gift shop. Would definitely return! 🤩
Great place to explore after we landed in Glasgow before checking into the hotel. Great way to see Highland Coos, explore beautiful grounds, and more. We wanted to walk and chose not to go in to see the art because of limited time. The Pollok HOuse was closed, but looked very impressive from the outside even with work being done. Lots of people walking dogs and lots of families. We had much better opportunities to see highland cows later in our trip, but it was fun to see them here on day one and learn about them.
