Kids go free and if you’re an adult it’s a reasonable affordable price! it is a bit small and not much there but its creative how they change the theme and have lots of information. Would recommend visiting if you pass by

Wonderful museum, incredibly inexpensive to visit and full of amazing items and photos, from a bugle played by a boy at a WWI training ground to Victorian nursing uniforms. Engaging and entertaining with really something for everyone to pleasantly while away an hour or so.

This was such a great find. The volunteers running the museum are all highly informative and just want to share their love of history with anyone who whats to come and enjoy the museum. We happened to come and visit on halloween, the effort and detail that had been thought of to entertain children over half term was amazing.

It was nice visiting an area that my ancestors once lived and getting to know the local history. There was plenty to see at the museum and gain a sense of what life was like in 1940s. This museum is worth a visit if ever in the area.
