I purchased a £30 gift voucher last year for an alpaca walking experience as a present for my daughter. At the time of purchase, I was verbally assured by a staff member that the voucher would be flexible due to it being a gift and my daughter’s busy schedule. Unfortunately, when I recently tried to book (less than two months after the expiry date of March 27th), I was told this flexibility would not be honoured. I have now been informed that voucher is not flexible and the expiry date is fixed. I was not offered the £15 rebooking fee mentioned in the terms and conditions on their website for expired vouchers. Instead, I was told I would need to purchase a brand-new experience for the full £30 again. I fully understand that the voucher had expired, but I was relying the impression I was given when I bought it and expected a little goodwill as the voucher was only 1 and a half months out of date not years. I was only asking to use a voucher that I had already paid for so a little bit of understanding and kindness wouldn't have gone amiss. This situation has left me disappointed and unlikely to recommend this experience to others.

We did the group alpaca walking experience and it was brilliant! Walking these awesome animals was relaxing yet hilarious at the same time. Kelsey was our guide and she was so informative and friendly. I had the pleasure of walking Oreo who was such a character. He was so friendly, quite nosey and comical. If he found himself at the front leading he would stop dead. But if he was at the back he would start trotting to overtake the others. He also liked a cuddle. I could have stayed all day with this adorable guy! Hubby walked Nanook who was so chilled out and happily ambled along, occasionally stopping to munch on the grass. At the end of the walk we got the chance to feed the alpacas. Word of advice: the alpacas are on a working farm and the walk goes through a wood, so the ground was very muddy. We recommend wearing walking shoes/boots or wellies. We thoroughly recommend Posey Pacas for an alpaca experience and we will return.
