Prince's Park, Irlam, a place where I spent a lot of time as a child and later as a teenager so I have very fond memories of it. Today, a lot had changed since my day, but nevertheless it's a nice place to have a stroll through and recollect happy times. At the back of it is a section of the original course of the River Irwell, known locally as 'The Old River' which is now an abundant wildlife habitat. Like I said, well worth a leisurely stroll 👍

Prince's Park is a lovely local green space that’s perfect for a relaxing walk or spending time outdoors. It’s well kept, peaceful, and great for families, dog walkers, or anyone wanting some fresh air. A real asset to the Barton Moss community and a nice place to unwind

Nice and large Park to play football, run or walk the dog. The community members have been recently doing some works in the woods next to the park and you can even go inside easily. It´s a nice walk around the canal. Hopefully it´s not going to be long until the fair is back.
